    Day & Ross Experiencing Latency Issues

    The Day & Ross API began experiencing latency issues at approximately 5:00 AM EDT on March 20. The response times from the API are lengthy and may impact the ability for shipping estimates to be displayed to shoppers on the Cart or Checkout pages. Most impacted are Shopify merchants due to Shopify's short timeout window for shipping rate responses.

    Resolved - The Day & Ross API appears to have returned to normal operating ranges. Most API responses are returned within an acceptable timeframe.

    Monitoring -
    March 21 at 2:15 PM EDT:
    Day & Ross reports that it is aware of the issue and has restarted its systems which should resolve the issue.

    March 22 at 6:30 AM EDT:
    The latency issue continues to persist, although there are periods of improvement.

    March 25 at 2:30 PM EDT:
    The Day & Ross API is not returning any quotes at this time. It returned to normal over the weekend but at approximately 9:30 AM EDT it stopped returning shipping quotes. The error returned by the Day & Ross API is, "Sorry! We are unable to get quotes. Please try again."

    March 26 at 4:20 AM EDT:
    The Day & Ross API is returning quotes once more. The latency issue is prevalent for approximately 50% of the responses.

    March 28 at 8:30 AM EDT:
    The Day & Ross API is returning quotes except for daily between the hours of 1:00 AM EDT and 4:30 AM EDT when it appears to be offline for maintenance. The latency issue is still present for approximately 26% of the responses.

    XPO API Offline

    The XPO API is offline which affects all Eniture products that have an integration for XPO LTL Freight. Outage timestamp: 7:38 AM EDT, March 17.

    Resolved - The XPO API outage was resolved at 5:16 PM EDT on March 18. All Eniture products that use the XPO integration are operating normally.

    FedEx API for LTL Freight Errors

    FedEx's API is returning the following error when quotes for LTL freight are requested: "We are unable to provide an online rate quote for this shipment. Please call Customer Service at 1.866.393.4585." FedEx began returning the error on February 19 at approximately 12:07am EST.

    Resolved - FedEx's API resumed returning shipping quotes for LTL on February 19 at approximately 10:20am EST.

    The UPS API is offline. The outage affects all merchants that obtain real-time shipping quotes from UPS.

    FedEx API is offline

    The FedEx API is offline which affects all Eniture products that have an integration for FedEx parcel and FedEx Freight. Outage timestamp: 3:36PM EDT.

    Resolved - The FedEx API is back online. All Entiure Technology related products are operating normally.

    Estes Outage

    October 2 2023 -- 12:28 PM ET

    Estes reported the following:
    We are currently experiencing an outage in our core IT infrastructure and it is impacting a number of our systems. We are working as fast as we can to resolve these issues and will keep you informed as to our progress. Please reach out to your account manager, preferably by text, with any questions or concerns, including pickups for today.

    Our APIs - including Rate Quote, BOL, Pickup, and Tracking – have been restored and are fully functional. Tracking updates may be limited depending on the current status of the freight bill, and we're still working to restore our Image/Document Retrieval API and will have that available as soon as possible.

    Confirmed by Eniture Technology...
    Logs confirm that transactions with the Estes Express APIs are successful. All Eniture Technology products that rely on the Estes Express APIs are functioning normally.

    ESTES API Down

    From approximately 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM EDT the Estes API was down. As a result, subscribers to the ESTES LTL Freight Quotes app, regardless of platform, weren't receiving LTL freight quotes on the Cart page (WooCommerce) or during the checkout process.

    Worldwide Express Small Package Quotes

    An update to the web services that power the Worldwide Express Small Package Quotes application is resulting in a date format error. The update is affecting Magento, Shopify, and Woocommerce merchants. The cause of the issue has been identified. A resolution is expected by 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.

    Resolved - The web services issue has been resolved and merchants using the Worldwide Express Small Package Quotes application are receiving quotes. If you perform iterative testing, be sure to clear your cache or change the address or contents of the cart to make sure you aren't retrieving a cached result.
