    Day & Ross REST API Connections

    March 9, 2026 - 12:30 AM EDT

    On March 9, Day & Ross deprecated its SOAP API and launched its RESTful API. All Day & Ross customers were migrated. Since the migration, Day & Ross has been returning the error "Unable to rate shipment, please contact customer service at 866-329-7677" to all rate requests submitted to its API. Day & Ross has been notified of the issue. All Eniture Technology customers using one its products specific to Day & Ross are impacted. When testing the Day & Ross API connection in one of Eniture Technology's products, customers will see the error described, or "UNKNOWN ERROR."

    The issue with the Day & Ross rating API persists. There are concerns that Day & Ross did not bring its new rating system into production when its RESTful API was cut in, and its SOAP API was deprecated. E-commerce merchants with Canadian shipping origins who need to offer LTL freight as an option at checkout should consider alternative LTL freight providers while this issue with Day & Ross remains unresolved. FedEx Freight and XPO Logistics are options, and both are supported by Eniture Technology's suite of products.
